The short version

Your dictionary lives on your device. There is no account and no login. We run no analytics and keep no logs of your content. When you use the AI features, the relevant text is sent to a model provider to generate a response and comes straight back.

What we don't collect

Where your data lives

Everything you write — words, definitions, versions, the map — is stored locally on your device. This build does not use iCloud sync; your content does not leave your device except for the AI features described below.

AI features

Some features send the relevant text of your definitions to our server, which forwards it to a third-party AI model provider solely to generate the response you asked for:

Details:

If you never use the AI features, no definition text is sent anywhere except the short embedding excerpts used to place words on the map.

Data deletion

Deleting the app deletes your dictionary from the device. Since we keep no server-side copy of your content, there is nothing for us to delete on request — but you can always reach us at the address below.

Children

Actually is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
